Privacy Policy

At Anago, the privacy of your personal information has always been an important aspect of how we operate. On January 1, 2004, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) will apply to provincially regulated organizations that collect, use and disclose personal information in the course of commercial activity. While the term “commercial activities” has not been fully defined at this time, it is anticipated that this definition may extend to activities regularly performed by not-for-profit organizations (i.e., in the area of fundraising and fee for service programs).

As a result, Anago has taken steps to ensure our compliance with PIPEDA, including the designation of a Privacy Officer responsible for ensuring compliance with the Act. Anago protects your personal information and have adhered to all legislative requirements with respect to privacy. While we believe our practices and policies are incompliance with PIPEDA, we are actively working on reviewing all of our procedures involving the collection, use and disclosure of personal information, and will be updating our privacy policy in the near future.
